We organized an expedition to Bangladesh with the Mumbay Smiles Foundation. On July 19th, a collaboration agreement was signed at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre with the Mumbay Smiles Foundation. We are collaborating with them to organize a medical expedition to Shatkira, Bangladesh, which will take place from October 21st to 29th of this year.

The Barraquer Foundation will send a team led by Dr. Anna Monés, and also composed of Dr. Marina García and optometrists Alba Herrero, Marta Benito, and Susana Escalera. The objective is to conduct comprehensive visual health examinations for around 500 people, mostly children and young individuals, and provide solutions to those with ocular pathologies or refractive problems.

The Mumbay Smiles Foundation and the Barraquer Foundation, who have been working together on this initiative for months, will equally cover the costs of surgical treatments and prescription glasses for individuals who have been diagnosed with any visual health issues. That is our commitment.
