A summary of the progress of the “Mirem per tu” project for 2022

2022 has undoubtedly been an extraordinary year in terms of activities and beneficiaries. The local action programme of the Barraquer Foundation, "Mirem per tu" continues to grow day by day thanks to the invaluable collaboration of all the professionals at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre, especially ophthalmologists and optometrists, who take care of the eye health of all our patients.

Thus, in 2022 a total of 220 patients from the Barraquer Foundation have been treated at the clinic (46% more than the previous year) and optometric treatments have been provided at General Optica to a total of 582 people (95% more compared to last year). 10 check-up days have also been organized in as many social entities, in which more than 350 users of all ages have been seen, and 3 new collaboration agreements have been signed, bringing the total number of foundations and associations benefiting from the programme to 34.

Thank you very much to all of you who have made it possible. This 2023 is exciting and full of challenges. We will continue working with the same enthusiasm and, as always, we will keep you up to date.
