The 'Mirem per tu' program visits Santa Coloma de Gramenet

Last Tuesday, May 21, the Barraquer Foundation organized a day of eye health check-ups at the Centre Obert Rialles in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, a collaborating centre of the Probitas Foundation. A total of 39 children and young people between 7 and 16 years old from the “Dinem Junts” program received eye examinations. Of these, 7 will need to visit General Optica in the coming weeks for a more thorough optometric examination to determine the exact prescription and obtain glasses to correct their vision problems. Additionally, 3 users with potential ocular pathologies will be seen soon at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre by the appropriate specialist.

We especially appreciate the collaboration of Dr. María Ruiz, Dr. Claudia Andino and the optometrist Vicente Arroyo, all of them professionals from the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre. We also want to highlight the great work and excellent organization of the colleagues at the Centre Obert Rialles, who made our work much easier at all times.

After the summer, coinciding with the start of the school year, we will resume the review sessions at the Fundació Albert.
