As a result of the framework agreement signed last year with the FEDAIA (Federació d'Entitats d'Atenció a la Infància i l'Adolescència), five of its more than one hundred social entities were offered the possibility of joining the 'Mirem per tu ' program. After the agreements with the REIR Association, from Granollers, and the Grup La Fábrica Can Tusell, from Terrassa, it has now been the turn of the Fundación Salut Alta, a non-profit organization based in Badalona. It was founded in 2004 with the aim of help in the integral development of the neighbourhood population, offering special attention to minors and the most vulnerable people through education. The Salut Alta Foundation serves through its projects 130 children and adolescents and more than 100 families on a daily basis.
Thanks to this agreement, users of the Fundació Salut Alta who have visual health problems will be able to go to the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre to treat their eye pathologies or go directly to any General Optica store if they have optometric problems and need prescription glasses. During the month of November, a team from the Barraquer Foundation will travel to the entity's headquarters, located in the Salut neighborhood of Badalona, to carry out eye check-ups on its users. Francesc Ballbé, Director of the Barraquer Foundation, and Olga Valsells, Head of Management and Deputy Director, signed the collaboration agreement at the facilities of the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre.
