Droopy eyelids, along with dark circles, are one of the most visible signs of aging on our face. Fortunately, there are now various options to correct droopy eyelids and restore beauty to the eyes, either without surgery or through surgical procedures:
- Without surgery
The non-surgical option for treating droopy eyelids is treatment with hyaluronic acid. The injection of this filler substance restores volume to the periocular area, lifting the eyelid and eyebrow in mild cases and filling the eyelid groove.
- With surgery
The quintessential cosmetic surgical treatment for the periocular area is blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery. This procedure is performed when there is already excess skin that needs to be removed from the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both. It is a highly sought-after surgery that must be done in a highly personalized manner.
